Was it fast? like mine

Oh. . . I don't know if mine is fast compared to other 928's ?
but with what i have found wrong (knock sensors) it should be lots faster I am guessing.
Hopefully with the Tec-4 gt ECM and a better tuned engine it should also help.
should I order some ford injectors or will that over fuel it

It was quite different to my S4 but not huge.
928mac;3276 wrote: should I order some ford injectors or will that over fuel it
I'd say yes based on my experience. When I did the S4 intake refresh I had the OEM injectors cleaned with new Orings and pintle caps, they worked ok. When I did the GT intake (twice, long story) I installed the Ford injectors.........Roger supplies them brand new with the correct Orings (you cant use the Ford ones) for not much diff in price. The Ford injectors worked well with the completely refreshed intake............almost everything but the castings replaced

Thanks James but the pics don't show in the corners. I haven't really cleaned it that good yet, I just gave it a once over so that I could work on it.
I heard that when you clean that block that with in a matter of minutes that dark nickel starts to show up from the air unless you clear coat it right away.
I am still researching and gathering opinions. What say ye?
heres how to polish it

I have been LOVING on the 928's the last week or two...the weather has been pretty good for the most part and man have I been having fun. The S4 is back w/ the new trans and is F-A-S-T, FAST!!! WOW! Such a hoot to drive with that lower gearing! I can see I will need more rear tires now! LOL!
Had EURO85 out for some fun today. Man is that car a head turner! HOLY COW! People LOVE that car! The interiors on both of them are STELLAR TOO! They both look like they have half or fewer miles on them than the 101k (EURO85) and 91k (S4) that they actually have! The exteriors (especially the S4) also look MUCH better than the miles would suggest!
Here they both are!

pcar928fan;3707 wrote: Here are the CanCan red door inserts in EURO85! Got that taken care of today in about 2 min! Must be the easiest job you can do to a 928 other than installing floor mats I guess! LOL!
Looks great James. Did you have P.C. redo the inserts?
That's not the easiest job. The easiest job is replacing the cap on the hatch release knobs. I'm an expert on these!

Rick - do you replace these for the look - less faded, dirty - or do they tend to crack?
Frankly all of my knob centers look grubby. I've already got the console switch overlays but have not yet installed then as I'll be pulling the console.
