I don't know of any restoration shops in your area, I'm located out west in Arizona. I do know that many 928s have cracks in the dash, or if they're the more rare leather covered type the leather often is damaged by the sun and heat.

If you do elect to have a leather or vinyl covering, be sure to shade it from long sun exposure as it may be damaged again.

If you locate a good shop, please share the information as many members would be interested in such restoration.

Rich,
This is another area that the 928OC could provide a real service to the community. Could we have a database of service providers, by city, along with comments about what service was provided?
Just a thought!

Farid,
If you are able to remove the dash, another option would be to ship it to Classic 9 Leather Shop:
www.classic9leathershop.com/ .
They specialize in Porsche Interiors. I recently got a Carpet Kit from them, which was great. They also work on refurbishing dashes.
The website has instructions for how to remove the dash as well.

Cheers!

Classic9 does beautiful work. Not a fast process or cheap but absolutely great quality. Last time I visited (by appointment) I had just missed Jay Leno. Definitely a good choice.

Jay Leno? Was he filming? I’d like to see the Classic 9 operations. When was this?

This was a few years ago....they typically have a few high end cars for interior restoration....definitely call before you go though...nice crew...brilliant work!
