What to do next?

I am now three months into ownership and have tucked my car away for the winter. I am trying to plan what to work on next. The 1986.5 I have has 40k on it and basically has had nothing done to it beyond scheduled maintenance via the PO. I am looking for guidance on what I should do next.

Here is what I have completed thus far:

1. Timing belt, water-pump, porktensioner, and all related gaskets and seals.
2. Porken Chip installed Qrings left to do.
3. Valve cover gaskets and all seals and O rings. Had a slight leak.
4. Cam adjusted to -2 degree.
5. Adj. fuel reg. installed
5. Replaced wipes.
6. Hatch Struts.
7. Hood liner.
8. All interior dome light with LED's
9. License Plate light LED's
10. Fixed rear wiper and trunk latch.
11. Manual trans fluid
12. New Tires
13. New Shocks (have but have not installed yet)
14. Treated all leather.

I have to work on the windshield washer next. What other recommendations do you have that I should consider?

Also, I have a slight hum in my driver side rear. Is it possible that I have a bad wheel bearing? Form what I have read these generally do not go bad with low milage. Can you tell me what else it may be?

As usual, I would appreciate any insight you can offer.

The hum from the right rear could be the fuel pump.

interesting. The fuel pump. Is it your opinion as well that it should not be the bearings?

The fuel pumps get louder as they age and in my experience the noise increases after the car has been run for a good distance. They also fail like a light switch and given the age of all 928s they should be considered for replacement.

For piece of mind I replace the pump, fuel filter and the metal fuel line between with the correct size copper washers. Job done for another ~20yrs
