'93 gts was created by the flying scotsman
Looking seriously at a 5 speed '93 GTS in guards red.

Car has been very well maintained and I understand the percieved oil consumption.

Other than the 'normal' 928 maintenance is there anyhting specific to this year and model I should concentrate on?

This comes from James Bailey (The two specific GTS issues are excessive oil consumption and excessive pinging detonation)

Our James Morrison knows the GTS and has mentioned blow by before.

Blow by is the oil consumption issue I think... But "blow by" would not have been a phrase I would have used.

I love BOTH my GTS's and HIGHLY recommend them! I tell anyone who will listen, if you can only buy ONE 928, MAKE IT A GTS! If you can't afford the GTS then get an '89 S4!

I'll be getting a '93 and '95 to complete the GTS set eventually!

BTW, I think they look SPECTACULAR in guards red!
