Good Morning all.
I got to spend some time tuning the Tec-4 GT system yesterday after work and I am happy to say WOW! what a difference now that its tunable.
I have the fuel mixture where it sits around 12.5 to 13.5/1 on or off load and I am still not using the VE table or the EGO sensor (O2)
I am very pleased.
I still think I can get it to rev harder and faster by fine tuning the timing but I have to check the flight recorder and reset the knock sensor values.
Today should be a good drive to work.
Brad

Good to hear Brad. You've certainly been 'tested' on this odyssey.

I am hoping reliability by replacing the wiring harness, plug wires, fuel lines, and going to direct fire coils.
I may gain 10 ponies with the mild porting and more efficient ignition system.
The ECM is now tunable the same as if I had a shark tuner and I can tune it on the fly (or well driving
)
Another thing that I gained is freedom to add NO2 or a blower down the road and then just retune.
This is the main thing I was after besides the reliability and replacing the old parts that were going to fail.
built in adjustable rev limiter
valet settings
When it is fully tuned it should be much snapier
It is roasting the tires when shifting to second and sliding over a foot or more but it did that before.
no distibutor cap and rotor
no LH or EZK to fail
here is what they say www.distributorless.com/products/tecgt.php
If I did it again, the only thing I would do different is order direct from them and build what I need myself.
It would have been less headache (IMHO) But in all fairness, Carls guild was usefull.
