I was way to sore today from a hard day at work.

I think I need new work boots as my hip is so sore its painful to stand

I didn't work on the car today but

What did you do today

I submitted an invoice to the software company I am doing some work for so I can get paid again... That is nice. Need to send out a few resume's too so I can see about full time employment. Didn't get the job last week I had hoped for. The managers I interviewed with were blown away however and are working a couple of plans to try and get me in anyway, so I am hopeful, but not counting my chickens!

The car has been on the road for a week so all has settled and I tweeked a few items.......I started with the throttle cables.

For those not familiar start with all the cables very loose then the tighten the accelerator pedal cable so its has a minimum amount of slack then go to the throttle body cable.......its likewise adjusted but be very careful its not to tight as the TPS will trigger.

Once these are tightend move the throttle mechanism open and listen, you should hear a slight click as it moves off of the idle position.....thats the TPS.....no noise then the cable is too tight or the TPS is not operational, different thread.

With an auto transmission car then adjust the gbox cable; this cable can be adjusted to determine where the gbox shifts.

Lastly, adjust the cruise control.......happy cables

I do lead generation for a company that sell an eCommerce software package. We compete with IBM and ATG (to name a few) the software license and install starts at $650k USD!!! Sounds expensive but it is about 60% LESS than IBM or ATG and is more flexible out of the box too! Good stuff...Oh, Made in Germany TOO! LOL!

Replaced the transmission modulator on the '89. Hopefully that will cure my transmisssion from shifting itself out of gear.

Planning to install the instrument cluster on the Stepson after I swap over the LED's to the new cluster today.

Finally got out in the Shark after my recent upgrades (see odd starting problem in tech). Took my grandson to the movies and the car was simply awesome and smooth to drive. I can't believe this just keeps getting better. Each time we improve them, they are even more enjoyable!!! Cool. SITM in 3 weeks!

Picked up my now Carbon Fiber wrapped aluminum splitter today! Hope to get it installed this week! Pics when done...heck, might even put a pretty girl in the pics too!

Another day gone by and I didn't get a chance to work on the car.

oh well I did enough yesterday for 2 days.

I ordered the 2 rubber mounts that the air filter box sits on because I broke one yesterday.

Figuring out the fuel lines at the back under the filter box is going to take some time. I need 2 russel 90 deg fittings which I guess ILL order tomorrow.



I also need engine oil and what I want I can't find locally.

Jim W and I started putting in the cool Carbon Fiber (vinyl wrap of course) aluminum splitter that I got for EURO85. Was hoping we could get it done in one evening, but have run in to some of the SNAFU's we should expect when doing a 928 project. Hoping we get it done by tomorrow for the photo shoot this weekend (won't have time to work on it Thur or Fri...though is push comes to shove the photo shoot is in the early evening so we could still finish on Sat!)

Anyway, it is going to make that car look even MORE bad A$$ than it already does when it is in place! Pics to come of course.

Last weekend was the Taylor/Kat photo shoot and it was AWESOME! Such gorgeous girls! Pics to come of that as well! At least till I run out of space to post pics here...

That cigar looks good Brad. About the size I like. Corona size I think.

Sunday after cutting the grass, I sat in my garage (behind) the Shark and sat in my lawn chair smoking a Punch. It started raining right after I finished the grass so I couldn't even pull out the 928 for a drive. The cigar was nice and relaxing though.
