who's changed head gaskets was created by 928mac
I had purchased some extra head gaskets from 928MS as well as I ordered a engine gasket kit from Roger.
The other night I went to fit the 928MS gaskets on and had to adjust the dowel holes in them to center the fire ring over the cylinder which was out by 1/16 or 3/32 or more.
I bought these

Since this really bothered me I dug the victor head gaskets out and they look like a better quality but thiner
What are your guys opinions
BTW, I remember saying how much I hated victor as per my north american car experience but it looks like I am going to eat crow

If the "better quality "gaskets don't fit properly send them back for a replacement set. You may have gotten a set that are not cut properly.Go with the best and trust your gut. You have to much time and money invested to skimp here. By the way you say you drive nothing short of full racing quality material will do.
