Looking through the goodies store I didn't see any golf shirts for sale.

Are there any?

If so, what colour and size selections are there?

If not, is there a possibility of near future availability?

Sorry, just the t-shirts.

We would need sufficient demand to have anything made up. I could ask Betsy for a proposal. What color, size, etc. are you looking for?

I'd love to see something in maybe yellow or royal blue (gets WAY to hot in TX for black or navy) with the logo embroidered on it!!!

Who is Betsy? Perhaps this thread will generate enough MOQ interest.

Not sure of the overall member demographic but perhaps target the majority. Given that most members are adult males I'd suggest sizes from large throught 2xl in colours dk. green, navy, black for cooler climes and lighter choices for warmer as James describes.

Betsy is the wife of Rich Andrade, and the vendor the 928 OC most often uses for our logoed mementos, shirts, mugs, etc.

I will see if I can get Betsy to chime in, but I think the more color options, the more difficult it might be, similarly embroidery would add cost.

But we won't know if we don't ask.

If not I can make enquiries in my part of the world. I do have a 928OC t-shirt I could use for demo logo purposes.

Correct, I would reference Betsy as the preferred vendor.

Betsy has advised the following (note I incremented the shirt price for $2 for the 928 OC coffers to help sponsor events, etc.)

I will ask Betsy to put something up in the goodie store, hopefully this week:

A nice, basic, solid color polo shirt like the attached with an embroidered 928OC logo on the left chest area would cost about $22 for sizes S - XL (men's or ladies' styles) from me to the Club. 2XLs and larger will add about $2 per extra size. One shirt will fit in a USPS flat rate envelope if you don't mind it being a little smashed into the envelope, then shipping/handling would add approximately $7.50 each.

With embroidery we can have one shirt done at a time, so no inventory is necessary. There are also lots of color choices, if we want to offer them, or we could just limit it to black and white, or whatever. I just need about a week to turn around an order. If you prefer to order a larger number of shirts & keep inventory on hand, then the unit price will come down a little for an order of 13+ pieces.

There are lots of other styles as well, but this is a really nice shirt that's not overly expensive, and the style suits most everyone. Let me know if you want to consider anything else. Feel free to browse through www.sanmar.com -- this is one wholesaler that I work with and they have a pretty good selection.

I will plan on updating the announcements that gets displayed when users sign on. Have you noticed those?

Thx Stan...........the added expense of shipping and customs can be somewhat mitigated if we consolidate multiple shipments. Hopefully more likeminded members in Western Canada see this thread and we can order occordingly.

I've done a similar project when we distributed Rennwish calendars......worked well.

Which club Brad? not sure what you mean here, I dont live in Calgary.

To expand on my suggestion there's a list of all 928OC members in Western Canada who may or may not have seen the new 928OC golf shirt opportunity and we may want to send a quick note to these folks with an offer to organise logistics to lessen the overall financial burden of shipping and customs. We can then distribute the g.shirts once in province.

If there isn't sufficient interest then we order only what we require personaly.;)

Though they may not be keeping it up as well as needed considering the number of new Canadian members out there these days! Let me check in with Jim... he did just send out a mass email reminder to those members who have an upcoming renewal and those who have already expired...maybe I just missed the updated version of your data... How good are you an slicing and dicing an Excel spreadsheet? If you are pretty good I'll just send you the whole thing if you will good... LOL! ;)

I'm fairly good with spreadsheets, we use them at work for processing statistical data although its the admin who does the real work :rolleyes:

Send the spreadsheet James.......today if possible as the work year starts Tuesday and time will become scarce, again. :)
