In the 1/4 mile, sure. Everything beyond that would have been all 928. Also, the 928 made progress from a performance standpoint whereas the Corvette just became a bigger "POS" over the next decade to come.

Hey Ed!
I recently scored a big group of magazines/books with 928 articles in them. I started ripping them out of the magazines so they can be scanned easily. I'm trashing the rest of the useless magazines! There were some nice pics in the hardback book too that I pulled out to pin to my office wall.
