2 Days to Formula 1

Leaving for Austin in 2 days!!!! 18,000 RPMs here I come!.

Anyone else going? I got upgrade to turn 6 from turn 3 because they built a people bridge over the track that obstructed the view of some seats. The new seats overlook 4 turns (the S's) and cost 100.00 more but we got the upgrade for free!

I have the race schedule and there is a Ferrari challenge race as well as a GT3 Cup race.....could not get any better....that plus BBQ,, Music and 85mph highways......YYYEEEEE HAAAA.

Maybe there will be a Porsche corral or VIP tent my PCA card will get me into...

I'll be there but unless you are staying WAY south you won't get to drive on the 85mph part of the toll road!

Beth and I are going to the whole weekend worth of stuff... I should be pretty easy to spot, dude in the wheelchair... That said, I suspect there will be more than just me in a wheelchair. I am in the turn 12 grandstands baby! BEST SEATS IN THE HOUSE!!! Should be anyway! I am parking in the private Lot A parking area. Probably just be in the crappy Honda Accord instead of a 928...

Been to many F1 races from Silverstone, Hockenhiem, Magney Cours, Le Mans, Imola, Monza to Montreal and Laguna.

It is without doubt an unreal experience for anyone with an appreciation for cars and how they operate........F1 is on a different planet!

Man, I would so being going if I was home. It'll be recorded though!

Hey James, who knows, we might just cross paths. In fact I am south! I am flying into San Antonio and then driving up... Ha! We are staying in Austin but flying in and out of SA. Parking in the Airport lot.

Michael, give me a shout...I'll PM you my phone number so you can get in touch with me. If it is like Indy then Fri and Sat will be open seating anywhere you want so you can walk around and check things out from different vantage points. Hope that is the case here. At the very least we ought to be able to grab some food at some point. I'll be there pretty much all damn day all three days...that is my plan anyway.
