1 yr ago I paid James M. 3 yrs of dues at the 3rd coast get together and I have not had access to the owner club forums...seems odd...though I admit to frequenting the oc site 2 times a yr. I thought I would give it another chance and check out my benefits on the forum info available and lo and behold I , as a paid oc member do not have access to the oc forums???,,,
probably just an oversight I am sure but seems to be a glitch. How do I get this fixed so I can view what I paid for????

In the original welcome message from James, the directions are to email me and let me know you have registered to the forums, so that I will upgrade your status to member.
There is also an announcement in the forum, running since 3/20/2011 that reminds registered users to advise me, if they a member without member access.
I also, just last month, did a mass emailing to all registered users, asking them to confirm if they were members, many responded and a few were upgraded. As a registered user, you would have received that email as well.
I apologize but am not really sure how much more communication could have been provided to registered users about this. Perhaps the next administrator will do better.

I think you might have been a renewal and I had not been sending out email "welcomes" to the renewal folks reminding them of how to get connected here on this forum... My apologies my friend!
Finding little things we need to do better all the time.

Ed,
You are a registered member, not just a registered user, so you would not have received the email. Sorry for any confusion.

I made the change to your status at the same time I responded initially. Sorry for not stating that. You should have member access since then.
